The human cost of the agrotoxics.

In 1996, Argentina agreed with Monsanto on the commercialisation of transgenic soybeans and the use of glyphosate.
The National Congress approved it in a speedy process, with the scientific evidence presented by the company being unchecked, changing the country's productive matrix.
In 2023, extensive agriculture already exceeds 42.5 million hectares and around 600 million litres of pesticides are used.
Argentina is the world's biggest consumer of pesticides, with an average of 12 litres per person per year.In some populations and in less than a decade, childhood cancers have tripled, and congenital malformations and miscarriages have increased exponentially.
There are dozens of scientific studies and court cases demonstrating the seriousness of this health problem.
